Digital Compact Cassette (DCC) equipment was introduced by Philips, to the U.K. market, in October 1992. The format brought C.D. sound quality to cassette. The first DCC's were released, in the U.K., on the 9th. November 1992. Quo's "Rocking All Over The Years" album was included in the first batch of releases but the format never really caught on.
